#ENOUGH: Plays to End Gun Violence

  • Every Fifteen Minutes: Commissioned by the artistic producer of #ENOUGH: Plays to End Gun Violence to write a through line piece connecting and weaving together the eight winners of the 2022 #ENOUGH contest. Produced as a part of #ENOUGH's Nationwide Reading (58 readings in 29 states) and had its world premiere produced by Roundabout Theater Company's Youth Ensemble at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Forthcoming publication by Playscripts in the #ENOUGH: Plays to End Gun Violence 2022 Anthology .

  • The ABCs of Gun Violence: 2021 #ENOUGH Semifinalist. Performed in front of The White House as a part of 2022 #MeetWithManny protests.

International Human Rights
Art Festival 2021 Youth Fellow

  • Served as a 2021 Youth Fellow for the International Human Rights Art Festival

  • Developed and orchestrated “Our Rising Voices,” an international youth playwriting festival, with the goal of celebrating youth literary creativity, amplifying youth perspectives on social justice, and fostering youth engagement in human rights advocacy through drama

  • Composed original poetry and prose pieces focused on themes of human rights, published in IHRAF Publishes throughout the course of the year

Touch Screen

Touch Screen is a series of seven intertwined vignettes bookended by a prologue and epilogue reflecting on the complexities of adolescent relationships over technology in the midst of a COVID-19 landscape. It utilizes the obstacles of socially-distanced performance to create a relevant piece exploring what it looks like to fall in love and come of age in a virtual realm. A full-length play.

A young girl wrestles with morality and faith when she is diagnosed with a chronic pain disorder that requires intense treatment. A full-length play.

A virtual dramatic artistic piece honoring the role of planet Earth in uniting humanity despite differences. Part theatrical work, part spoken word poem, it is both a celebration of our Mother and a call to action performed by a cast comprised on seven young people from around the globe. A ten-minute piece.

Thoughts on the Size of the Universe

Thoughts on the Size of the Universe explores sexuality, culture, and our place in the cosmos through the eyes of two teenage girls in a rooftop conversation. The girls begin to see the galaxy from a wider perspective as they discover for themselves the beautiful balance between innocence and maturity, between identity and diversity, and between the now and the future. A one-act play.

Birdman

A one-man show based on a series of interviews with the Kailua Birdman, an eccentric local figure whose passion for training pigeons is a manifestation of his belief in the power of connection to nature. A one-act, one-man play.

When a moody, apathetic teenager goes on a tour of The Museum of Very Fine Arts, she finds herself stunned as iconic female paintings from The Hall of Women begin speaking to her. Through a conversation with The Mona Lisa, The Birth of Venus, and Girl With A Pearl Earring, the teen finds that there is more to art - and women - than meets the eye. A 10-minute play.

An overly optimistic gardener with a fear of bees trips and hits her head on a rock. She can suddenly hear her sunflowers talk and finds her stereotypes about flowers, bees, and the characters around her shattered. A 10-minute play.
