Maggie Munday Odom is a writer currently studying at Northwestern University.

 

Her work has been recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts Poetry Out Loud Poetry Ourselves, The New York Times Learning Network, the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center Young Playwrights Festival, the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, The Blank Theatre, and the Writopia Lab Worldwide Plays Festival. Her plays have been produced at the O'ahu Fringe Festival, at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts through the #Enough Plays Project, and at schools across the country. Her poetry has been published in 826 National's Poets in Revolt! educational lesson plan and in various journals. In 2021, she served as the Youth Fellow for the International Human Rights Art Festival where she developed and orchestrated the Our Rising Voices youth playwriting festival.
